Teacher of the YearDawn Alexander, a third grade teacher at Tom McCall Elementary in Redmond, was the first recipient of the AITC Teacher of the Year Award. The award is given to teachers who do an outstanding job incorporating agriculture into their classroom curriculum.

2013 Literacy ProjectAITC's Literacy Project helps improve both the literacy of Oregon's young readers and their knowledge of agriculture. Who Grew My Soup? is a delightful story about a boy named Phineas who declares he won’t eat his soup until he knows where it came from. To his surprise, a man in a flying tomato balloon shows up to answer this question. Together they fly from farm to farm, learning about the amazing vegetables in his soup and the farmers who grew them.

Get OregonizedGet Oregonized is written for third and fourth grade students studying Oregon's history. The text is designed to help students understand and appreciate the rich history, people and natural resources that shaped the state of Oregon. The book includes maps, illustrations, graphs as well as modern and historical photographs that complement the easy to read text.
