Calendar Contest Reception
at the Oregon State Fair
Enter your student's artwork now! Students in grades K-6 are eligible to enter original artwork about Oregon Agriculture for our calendar contest. The theme of the calendar is Oregon Agriculture and it will highlight the tremendous diversity of agriculture throughout Oregon. We encourage students to use a lot of creativity and color in their original artwork. Artwork must be submitted by May 15, 2008. Judging will be completed over the summer and the calendar will be printed in the fall of 2008. Each month will feature one student’s artwork and will have daily agricultural facts. Every student who submits artwork will receive a personalized certificate. Thirteen Students will receive a $50 savings bond and their artwork will be in the 2008-09 calendar. Honorable mention artwork will also be selected. For more information, call (541) 737-8629. Calendars will be distributed to teachers on our mailing list.
