AITC Has Moved!

AITC moved across campus June 1 and is now housed at 305 Strand Agriculture Hall at Oregon State University. We are grateful to the College of Agriculture and the Department of Range Management for providing the program with a wonderful new space. Thank you!

Annual Fall Harvest Dinner
 

"9th Annual Fall Harvest Dinner A Success

Nearly 350 people attended the 2009 Fall Harvest Dinner. Over $45,000 was raised for the program and nearly 600 books were purchased for Oregon classrooms."


2009 FFA Agricultural Youth Awareness Award Winners

Congratulations to the North Clackamas, Henley and Imbler FFA Chapters for their winning entries in AITC's 2009 FFA Agricultural Youth Awareness Awards. The chapters received their awards during the State FFA Convention held in LaGrande, March 22. The award encourages agriculture literacy programs in Oregon's high school FFA Chapters. Pictured: Nicole Smith from the North Clackamas FFA Chapters receives their first place banner.


AITC Art Cards
Send a note and share the inspired art work from the program’s annual calendar contest with friends. AITC Art Cards can now be purchased from the program. These cards make a great gift, plus all proceeds go to support Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation.



Calendar Contest 2008-2009
 

The contest is open to students in grades K-6. Student's original artwork should feature Oregon Agriculture. Students are encouraged to use a lot of creativity and color. $50 savings bonds will be awarded to the 13 students whose artwork is selected for the 2009-2010 calendar.
